GENERAL.
How is the jewelry made?
Each piece is designed in a small Brooklyn studio and 100% made in NYC. Designs are cast in solid gold using the lost-wax or stone-in-place casting method.
What metals are available?
We work exclusively in solid, matte-finished yellow gold ranging in karat from 10 -18K to create the timeless look that is unique to our pieces. The metal we use is sourced as recycled gold whenever possible.
What types of stones do you work with?
We source the highest quality diamonds, sapphires and natural semi-precious stones from long-standing, reputable gem dealers. All stones are sourced from conflict-free mines with ethical labor practices and many are one-of-a-kind treasures.
Do you make custom jewelry?

Please note: As each piece is hand-made (no overseas production, no mechanization), the design process is rigorous and we are unable to accommodate design modification or variation requests to our existing pieces. Custom length/size requests are always welcome as well as requests to use personal heirloom stones in a one-of-a-kind setting. Please reach out to us at info@emmelinenyc.com.
SIZING + FIT.
How do I find my ring size?
Please follow these guidelines to help you find your perfect fit.
To ensure a ring fits comfortably, but securely, it should slide on fairly easily but come off with a little resistance. Not too much that you need to force it or feel discomfort, but enough that it could never slide off during everyday activities.
The width of a ring matters. Thinner rings will slide onto a finger with less resistance than a wide band of the same size that covers more of your finger. Therefore, wider rings may require a bigger size.
So how do you find your size? If this is your first ring, we highly recommend being sized at a reputable jeweler. If this isn’t possible, you can also request the same sizer used in our studio be sent to you upon order completion. Production won’t start until sizing is confirmed. JEWELRY CARE.
Can I clean my jewelry?
Absolutely, but please do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaners as they may adversely affect the finish of your stones and metal. Simply soak jewelry in warm soapy water for a few minutes to loosen any dirt or build-ups and then rub gently with a soft toothbrush.
How long can I expect my jewelry to last?
Our pieces are made to last a lifetime, and then some. If you treat your jewelry with care, you can expect it to stand the test of time no matter how much you wear it.
Can damaged jewelry be repaired?
If your jewelry is in need of repair, please contact us for an evaluation and estimate if applicable. Please note that no jewelry will be accepted for repair that has been altered or worked on by an outside source or that has been damaged due to ill-advised use (i.e. crushed by tools, exposure to harsh chemicals or abrasives, etc)
SHIPPING.
How long will it take for my purchase to arrive?
All pieces are made-to-order. Please expect a 3-5 week turn-around time. Some pieces, such as one-of-a-kind, limited edition and any in-stock pieces will have a shorter turn-around time as indicated on product pages.
What if I need jewelry sooner?
Though we can’t guarantee expedited production, we will always try our best to meet customer needs. Please reach out to info@emmelinenyc.com and we will do our best to accommodate and provide an E.T.A.
What shipping methods do you offer?
Due to the high product value, orders will ship via UPS 2-day, require an adult signature and include insurance. Pieces cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
Can you ship internationally?
At this time, we do not offer international shipping through our website. If you are an interested in purchasing a piece, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We will would love to try and accommodate you. info@emmelinenyc.com
Do you charge sales tax?
We are located in New York. Sales tax will apply to any order being shipped within New York State.
RETURNS + REPAIRS
What is your return policy?
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Exchanges, credits and refunds are accepted up to 10 business days from receipt of your piece. Items MUST be returned in original condition and in original packaging. No worn, damaged, or special-order sized items will be accepted.

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges.
Please ship with signature required, insurance & reach out to use with tracking information to ensure your shipment arrives safely.
We cannot refund items that have been lost or damaged in transit to us.
Can my jewelry be repaired?
Pieces can be repaired or refinished as needed subject to a fee for any necessary work. Please reach out for a Repair Authorization (RA#) at info@emmelinenyc.com and note:
Allow for an 6-8 week turn-around for work to be done.
Each request needs to be assessed on a case-by-case basis for complexity and is subject to a repair fee. No work will be done until any necessary fees are reviewed with the customer.
